Tailgate Tea Party

It’s official!  The next Middle Tennessee Tea Party will take place on July 10th at 5 PM on the Square in Murfreesboro, and we’re tailgating!  Show up for the tailgate party at 5PM when we cordon off the inner portion of the Square, and bring your own food and drink.  Decorate your trucks and yourselves, and participate in our Tailgate Costume Contest!  We’re still working out all the details, but

The Tea Party starts at six, but we’re still nailing down the agenda, including speakers, (maybe) music, and all the other details.

If you’re thinking, “for some strange reason July 10 sounds familiar,” it’s because it’s the same weekend as Uncle Dave Macon Days.  No, we’re not affiliated with the folks who run Uncle Dave Macon Days (at least as far as we know), but we figured since everybody was going to be out having a good time anyway, it would be an excellent opportunity for us all to reach out to the greater community.  This will be an excellent opportunity to spread the message of less government spending, lower taxes, and reminding Capitol Hill that it answers to the folks on the hill at Legislative Plaza!

Sign Making Party

Also be sure to write down the date for our sign making party! We’re going to meet up and have tons of fun sketching, drawing, and painting signs for the tailgate on July 10! We’re still working on getting a location, but as soon as it’s set, we’ll let you know.

On April 15, nearly 3,000 ordinary American citizens gathered on the Square in Murfreesboro to protest wasteful government spending, selling Posterity into generational debt, and the usurpations that brought these things to pass.

Nearly all of those people expressed interest in another party, and we’re pleased to announce that it’s on the way! A decision will be made soon as to the exact time and date, and information will be posted here.

We’re super excited to be in the thick of this, and we hope to see you at the next tea party!
